Hi! I’m Derek, a passionate creative driven to tell real stories in sports and in life.

Background

Throughout my life telling stories and capturing memories has always been a passion of mine.

I previously worked 4 years for Baylor Athletics as a video/photographer, while also earning a bachelor’s degree in Film and Digital Media with a minor in Photojournalism.

Additionally, I have photographed MLS and NWSL clubs such as the Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash.

Within sports, I have also worked with MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighters such as UFC fighter Bruna Brasil, and former Fury Fighting Championship Champion Justice Torres.

Besides sports, I have worked with businesses of all types, from animal wildlife preserves to record stores, there’s something for everyone!
